Le départ du sentier, jusqu'au ruisseau que vous aurez traverser ne présentera aucune difficulté ni gain d'altitude. Vous croiserez "Roger's Lookout" offrant une belle vue sur le Heart Lake. Après 2,5 km, vous arriverez au ruisseau Indian Pass. Le débit de celui-ci pourrait être assez élevé, de même que son niveau selon le temps de l'année. Pour ma part, en juin, j'ai réussi à me faire un chemin au travers roches.
Passé la rivière, le sentier n’est pas entretenu et il n'y aura aucun balisage. Cependant, l’itinéraire est assez facile à suivre puisque pendant une bonne partie de la randonnée vous longerez un ruisseau à votre droite. Au travers de grosses racines, roches, bouette et portions inondées vous réussirez à retrouver votre chemin. Le sentier est plutôt large jusqu'à la jonction menant vers chaque sommet. Une ascension soutenue et progressive sur environ 3 km. Il y aura 2 points de vue sur de grosses roches durant votre montée. Soyez attentifs.
Pour se rendre aux sommets, la direction vers ceux-ci sera gravée dans un arbre : Nye droite et Street à gauche. La montée vers Nye est très courte et abrupte, sur un sentier étroit pendant 300 m. Je vous suggère de faire celle-ci en premier. Celle vers Street est de 800 m et vous aurez traverser une portion plus marécageuse avant d'effectuer l'ascension finale vers le sommet. Ces deux sommets sont boisés, comme la majorité de votre randonnée, et seront ornés d'une pancarte. Explorez un peu pour avoir une vue sur la chaîne MacIntyre (voir vidéos).
Je vous conseille d’effectuer ces montagnes en période de sécheresse durant l’été ou bien durant l’hiver, car les hautes eaux rendent la traversée difficile et potentiellement dangereuse.
Pour ma part, j'ai fait cette randonnée lors d'une journée nuageuse et pluvieuse à l'été 2022 et lors d'une superbe journée à l'hiver 2023.

The start of the trail, up to the stream that you will have crossed, will present no difficulty or gain in altitude. You will come across "Roger's Lookout" offering a beautiful view of Heart Lake. After 2.5 km you will come to Indian Pass Creek. The flow of it could be quite high, as well as its level depending on the time of the year. For my part, in June, I managed to make my way through the rocks.
Past the river, the trail is not maintained and there will be no markings. However, the route is quite easy to follow since for a good part of the hike you will follow a stream to your right. Through large roots, rocks, mud and flooded portions you will manage to find your way. The trail is quite wide until the junction leading to each peak. A sustained and gradual ascent over approximately 3 km. There will be 2 viewpoints on large rocks during your climb. Be careful.
To get to the peaks, the direction to them will be engraved in a tree: Nye on the right and Street on the left. The climb to Nye is very short and steep, on a narrow path for 300 m. I suggest you do this one first. The one to Street is 800m and you will have to cross a more marshy portion before making the final ascent to the summit. These two peaks are forested, like the majority of your hike, and will be adorned with a sign. Explore a bit to get a view of the MacIntyre channel (see videos).
I advise you to do these mountains in times of drought during the summer or during the winter, because the high waters make the crossing difficult and potentially dangerous.
I personally did this hike on a cloudy, rainy day.
